flying a kite from the dollar store seems to inspire bigger dreams.
a dream of someday crafting our own kite
with all the character in the world flying on its floppy
painted wings.

and thus pictures of our dollar store
flying endeavor with more of
our own creation to come.

crêpes, when used as a pre-study
snack, are quite delicious.

today andrew and i had fun making them
while listening to country music (summer music).

by friday i will be done with all my classes.
the next week i will have two final tests.

then i will be free like the nomad i am known to be.

yesterday, brittany, maria and i went adventuring around
edmonton. it was raining.
we ate at a quant cafe, hung out at the art museum,
rode the edmonton subway, walked around city centre,
bowled, and watched pride and prejudice.

another victory in the adventure realm.

it is snowing again today. my mind cannot grasp the
fact that it is warm elsewhere. i am counting down
the days until i return to my country.

i am convinced that being in this climate is some
sort of torture for my thin southern blooded self
via pure confusion.

andrew is home and
today we did a bit of wandering in the sun.
we also may have eaten some of these questionable berries
because we like to live life on the edge...
so far we are not dead yet.

also: on easter my little church had easter egg dying for the kids in
our community (aka the hood). it was so much fun! there was also a feast after.

The presence of the Living God
satisfies the depths of my heart.
And all of me, I changed when you came.
And I'm led free by Your glory and grace.

I am overwhelmed by what Jesus did for me.
Let me be this aware and this overwhelmed
everyday.

For He is all that is good in me.

my dad sent me this cute picture of my mom
grilling out in our backyard back in norman.
it has been in the 90s there recently...
i rather skip spring and jump to summer than have
continual snow... just sayin'.
(isn't she the cutest?)
