Last night my best friends and I made the usual drive to Chickasha. Jacki, Kaitie, Abby L, Susy and I had a great night it the town we Normanites like to call our second home. When we got to Abby's house we tried on so many old dresses preparing for our camp's "Thrift Store Formal." It was such a blast going through all of the old dresses trying to confine our bodies in order to fit the petite wardrobe of her family's past. A dress I tried on was real vintage from the forties that had been Abby's grandmother's. One Kaitie wore was a legit white ball gown that looked like "A Cinderella Story." We had so much fun prancing around in the dresses reliving our childhood years of princesses and tea parties.

We went swimming in the dark. We all decided to make the night a memorable one by taking our swim suits off and practicing the age old tradition of skinny dipping. We swam around for hours and couldn't stop laughing at the circumstances. When we got out of the pool we all sat around on the warm concrete in our swimsuits discussing life, what was next and randomly how religion is perceived in our culture. We talked and talked and talked more when we got home. It was truly great to have amazing pure fellowship with each other.

Late in to the night we watched the movie Coraline. It was trippy, but better than I thought it would be.

This morning we had wonderful fruit pancakes. We decided to skip out on church so we all ended up in the den singing worship songs. Abby played her guitar and sang as we all sat in wonderment at our Lord. Abby sang the song "How He Loves Us" by Kim Walker. In the beginning of the song the first line says "He is jealous for me, loves like a hurricane I am a tree." This line rocked me, that my Lord, the Lord of all the world was jealous for my attention. It was an amazing morning to sit in God's presence. I realized that the people in that room were the most wonderful people I have ever known. I realized that I am leaving in a month and wont get to see them or laugh with them every day anymore. But God will hold us together. The bond that we have cannot be broken. I just thank God for this amazing day and His promise that when two or more are gathered in His name He will come.

This morning I went to a wedding shower for my friend Melinda! It was so much fun hanging out with all her friends and watching her open all the fabulous presents! I just love weddings so much! I got her a set of green pans and she loved them :). Yay for weddings and fun presents! Precious

Congrats Melinda and Kyle! I wish I could be there for the big day!

Hello blog world! Today I start this up, I am not sure how long it will last but I guess that is for us to find out!

Today was a fantastic summer day starting with a great lunch with two of my friends, Katherine and Jillian. During my senior year we started up this thing called JAK lunch (Jillian, Abby, Katherine). So we have continued the tradition throughout the summer! Today we got food from The Earth to go and ate at the field on OU’s campus. We road our bikes around and had a fabulous time fountain hopping and getting popsicles from the ice cream truck! So here is too a fabulous day and a great week!
