I would consider myself a non-denominational follower of Christ.
I believe that God created all things and people.
I believe in the trinity-- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe that all people are made in God's image and
therefore deserve the utmost respect and love.
I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and is one with God.
I believe that Jesus was sent to pay the debt of humanity's sin,
the ultimate sacrifice, and that His blood can cover all sin.
I believe that Jesus was born of a virgin and given to this earth.
I believe that Jesus suffered and died to cover our sin, but when
it comes down to it He would have died for just one. Just me or just you.
I believe that after Jesus was crucified, He was buried and
later rose from the dead, fulfilling many prophecies that had been spoken
thousands of years earlier-- and overcoming death.
I believe that Jesus ascended into Heaven
and sits at the right hand of the Father.
Jesus was both God and man therefore He knows the struggles
that we go through in everyday life and He has compassion.
I believe that the Holy Spirit was sent after Jesus' ascension to
be our guide and give us power to overcome sin and work
for the glory of God. I believe that the Holy Spirit gives
us each unique gifts to better contribute to the Kingdom.
I believe that Jesus is coming back to judge the living and the dead.
I believe that anyone can have salvation through Jesus Christ and
anyone can have the opportunity to spend eternity with Him.
I know that when every ear has heard the Gospel He will return.
Therefore, I commit my life to spreading His love and His longing
to be in relationship with each person.
