This week has been absolutely amazing. I am not really sure why. We have been living in the library but that kind of makes me happy because we are all living together in the library. It is funny how the Sarah Lawrence community comes together when the work gets hard.

So here are the five best moments from the past couple days.

1. Erin and I sat on a ledge at the Cloisters while everyone was looking around doing their own thing. It was a simple moment, feeling the breeze from the river and the sun on our faces. Such beautiful things to look at around us.
2. Sitting out on Andrew's lawn when the sun was going down the other night trying to get work done, again with Erin. It was so humid and the mosquitoes were out but it was so beautiful. We saw two bunnies!
3. In the library with Erin and Zoe yesterday sitting by a set of huge windows. A quick storm came. It poured for about ten minutes as we sat snuggled together on a comfy chair. Then it immediately stopped and the sun came out. Such a demonstration of God's beauty.
4. Lynd house reunion for Nour's birthday. We baked a chocolate cake and hung out just like the old times. I miss the Lynd girls so much so it was so fun to all hang out again. We went to sit outside like we used to and just talked for a long time.
5. Zoe taught Maddy and I to make ice coffee at Bates, it may have changed my life just a little because it was so good. I will probably be drinking about five cups a day now.

This whole weekend has been dedicated to working on conference papers. Erin and I have been living in the library and hittin' the books day and night. Thankfully I am very close to done with the rough draft of my conference paper. Erin, Zoe, and I are currently posted up in a corner of the library with no shoes and some yummy nacks (or as normal people say, snacks)... This is pretty much our new second home. Earlier some people came around and gave us free pop tarts, it was sublime. This just in-- Two high guys outside the windows nearest to us are yelling about nature? Or something along those lines... Welcome to Sarah Lawrence conference crunch.
Here are some pictures from a homework party we had out on the lawn a couple days ago.

We just got back from a Sunday trip to the beautiful cloisters! It was so much fun to picnic on the lawn and go take in the beautiful view of the river.
Time is slowly ebbing away from me as I begin to stress over long papers and readings. But I truly treasure these moments in my life when time just kind of slows down long enough for me to realize how fortunate we are to have each other and how much I am going to miss everyone over the summer.

(Zoe, Me, Erin, & Erica) These people have enriched my life so much this year.

Super Mash Bros came and DJ'd at our spring formal last night! Erin was violated by a girl, there was a 50 year old man there... It was hot and sweaty and we danced the night away. At this formal, as apposed to Fall Formal, everyone was fully (relative term) clothed.
We had so much fun!

Maddy and I took a walk through the beautiful neighborhoods behind Sarah Lawrence and observed true suburban New York life.
These past few days have been a dream with the nice weather and beautiful sunshine.
Every season in New York is amazingly beautiful.
I am realizing more and more how much I am going to miss it here come summer time. So much. I never want to leave this year, this place, these people.

Yesterday evening Maddy, Erin, and I went exploring in our future home, Andrews House. We discovered our beautiful future back yard, somewhat of a secret garden. All the flowers and green grass were amazing. Good thing we have amazing windows in our hall to look out in our beautiful garden next year.

Last night my friend Zoe had an art opening for her sculpture class. It amazes me the talent that students at our school possess. There were a lot of neat and creative sculptures all made by students from SLC. I treasure the art centered community that Sarah Lawrence has and I feel that art is something we must all learn to show our appreciation for, it is one thing that truly makes life beautiful.
