I am looking up old school Journey Church videos...
This is by far the best.
And number two..
You gotta love the old church offices complete with Amy, Chad and Adam.
The Macy's Thanksgiving day parade!
We woke up at four to get to the parade, barely finding a front row seat.
Another favorite, cookie cutter.
And that my friends, is the magic of Macy's. It was a dream come true to go to the parade, I have been watching it every Thanksgiving morning on TV for as long as I remember. (More photos of the parade can be seen on Facebook)
Jacki and I with Crumbs peppermint hot chocolate, the parade was FREEZING.
Eating our cupcakes in the subway station warmth.
The view from the roof of our apartment where we shared a great Thanksgiving with great people (as seen in the video).
"Welcome to the life of the filthy rich"- Nour, walking us up to the roof
I would say this Thanksgiving was equivalent to a dream.
CHRISTMAS MUSIC COMMENCE!
(I am pretending like I didn't bust out the Christmas music right after Halloween...)
Jacki brought me my long awaited footie pajamas from target!
Jacki and I walked around my beautiful campus, this is us on the "hot rock"
Us at the Bronxville train station.
Then we went to experience the magic of Macy's.
Jacki and I in front of the Macy's parade star on 34th st.
All over Macy's there were displays beginning with the word "Be" such as "Believe, Be warm" etc. This one really struck my fancy because I want to Be Home.
Jacki with the door man at FAO Schwartz.
Over Thanksgiving one of my best friends from home came to visit me in the big city, here are a few pictures from her visit on day one.
Jacki and I on the train to Manhattan.
Union Square park, unfortunately the market was not running.
Our GIANT banana split.. Bigger than my head... and it was the "coward's portion"
Christmas time in the city.. We saw great window displays.
That night we saw CHICAGO on Broadway! It was GREAT!
We sat like 12 rows away from the stage!!
