This weekend 14 of us went on a ministry trip to Edson, a town about two hours away from here. We did ministry at the skate park and hung out with so many kids. It is such a small town that all the kids have nothing better to do except go to the skate park. We put on a little concert and did some skits/dramas. Later that night we put on a youth service at the local church. There, we did worship, had free pizza, and gave a message by a girl in our group who grew up in Edson.

That night we were all split up to be billeted. I went with another girl and two other boys and we stayed at these old people's house. It was so nice, and in the morning they made us pancakes! I say these people were old but really the guy was only 60 (and get this dad) they have 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren (and he is younger than you)!

Sunday morning our team led the whole church service but we were split up and I led the kids service. After, the pastor and his wife made us lunch. It felt so much like Thanksgiving.

It was such a great trip. I met some really cool kids. I really think it was such a successful ministry trip.
