Some of my best friends and I had an amazing summer evening
due to great company and warm tea.
We sat around a beautiful table and ate delicious homemade food.
As the sun sank below the endless fields we talked of things
past and things future. Middle school teachers, crushes, first kisses,
majors, graduation, life, and justice. I am filled with gratitude for these
amazing girls who have come into my life and have stayed and made
their way into my heart, each of them I hold dear.
I will always look back on these southern summers
with love and gratefulness.
