Saturdays are lazy on the compound. Let me preface this with saying that you know you are in Haiti when you think that sleeping until eight is sleeping in. So at nine I watched a world cup game with the help of a ghetto piece of junk antenna that Jay bought at the Haitian market. At around 1:30 we moved the TV and antenna down to the long term patient ward, aka a tent, and watched US v. England with all the patients. I will never forget being in the big tent with all the patients and about 8 Americans gathered around the TV watching the game. At one point goats even walked by in back of the TV. I said to one guy "I will never forget watching the cup with goats walking by in the background" and he pointed out that majority of the people who watch the cup probably watch it like that.

But overall today was a lot of fun. We moved from our pink house into the guest house because we needed to give it to some staff who were moving around. So here I am. laying in bed, upstairs in the guest house, blogging away with fans blowing like mad.

Heres to CHAITI! (Yes, Chaiti)
